Accepted Insurance
We currently partner with the following insurance providers for acupuncture services:
-
American Specialty Health (ASH)
-
BlueCross
-
Cigna
Please note that coverage varies by plan, and not all policies include acupuncture. We recommend verifying your specific benefits before scheduling.
Out-of-network Coverage
If your insurance plan is out-of-network, we provide a superbill—a detailed receipt of services rendered—that you can submit directly to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement

-

Treatment Options
Most major insurance plans reimburse for standard 15-30-minute acupuncture sessions. We offer two treatment options to suit your preferences and budget:
1. Insurance Acupuncture (Semi-Private Room)
Setting: Relaxed, shared Community Acupuncture Room where 3-5 patients are treated at the same time. Please visit our community acupuncture page for more information.
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: Fully covered by insurance; patient is responsible for any co-pay or co-insurance with no additional concierge fee.
Best for: Follow-up appointments and those seeking an affordable, communal healing experience.
2. Extended Insurance Acupuncture (Private Room)
Setting: Private, one-on-one Treatment Room for maximum privacy and focus.
Duration: 55 minutes.
Cost: Insurance covers the session; patient is responsible for any co-pay or co-insurance, plus a $42 concierge fee per session.
Best for: Those wanting a private, comprehensive treatment experience that may
include adjunct therapies such as cupping, manual therapy, and herbal medicine.
We highly recommend that first-time insurance patients schedule their initial evaluation and treatment as an extended appointment to allow time for a thorough health history, assessment, and treatment. Follow-up appointments can be booked in our Community Acupuncture Room.
Conceirge Fee
A concierge fee is an additional charge applied on top of any copay or coinsurance for treatments in our private treatment room. Since most insurance plans reimburse for 15-30-minute acupuncture sessions, the $42 concierge fee enables us to offer more comprehensive treatments in a private setting. This extended time allows for additional therapies such as manual therapy, cupping, gua sha, herbal medicine, or extra needling time. (Note: The semi-private community acupuncture room does not incur this fee, offering a cost-effective alternative.)
Our goal is to prioritize your health outcomes and access to care. During booking, we can discuss these options and estimate any out-of-pocket costs based on your verified benefits.
